About the programme

The master’s degree programme in pharmaceutical sciences builds on your knowledge of development, design and production of medicines acquired at the bachelor’s degree programme in pharmacy. At the master’s degree programme in pharmaceutical sciences, you get to specialise in an area of your choosing. 

A master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences does not authorise you to work as a pharmacist in a community or hospital pharmacy.

This programme is only offered in Danish.

What makes the programme at UCPH unique?

The programme focuses on drug development. The flexible structure of the programme allows you to take courses at another Danish or foreign university. You can also choose to do a project together with a pharmaceutical company or immerse yourself in a specific subject area.

What specialisations does the field of study offer?

The flexible structure of the master’s degree programme in pharmaceutical sciences allows you to customise your degree. You can do a project with a company or take elective courses at the University of Copenhagen or at another Danish or foreign university.
